Alice Sawyer

I am currently working in several jewelry techniques to create pieces that are unique, handmade and tested for comfort, sturdiness and beauty. I do wirework and metalsmithing, incorporating stone or glass beads and focals. I use aluminum, copper, jeweler’s bronze, brass, sterling and fine silver. This year, I decided to add a new material to my work and have been learning how to create (and include) resin pieces colored by alcohol inks or metal powders.
I’m a Colorado native with many years of artistic expression in many different mediums, including photography and watercolor painting. My husband, Lance and I moved to Buena Vista in 1995. I’ve worked and volunteered in BV until I retired to my own schedule in 2009.
If you are looking for something unique, my jewelry is available for purchase by contacting me directly at offroundarts@yahoo.com.
