The 2018 Open Awards Show was a big success this year with over 600 people coming to the show and viewing the 106 art pieces by 53 local artists. The opening reception on Friday night drew over 120 attendees and we gained 20 new members during the three day show. We had a special visit by Dierks Bentley from the Seven Peaks Festival who stopped by and voted for our Peoples Choice Award! Our show judge, Geraldine Alexander attended the opening reception and also met with various artists to discuss their pieces. All our award winners are listed on our Open Awards Show tab. Those who viewed all the beautiful art said that every artist who entered was truly a winner! We are very grateful to all the Chaffee Arts members who volunteered and made this show a success. Special thanks to our Show Underwriters whose donations made this show possible. Top awards are: Best in Show - Nora Bushong Larimer, Judge's Award - Evelyn Gottschall Baker, People's Choice Award - Paul A. Silver.
