This bowl resulted from the largest of three burls found on a downed Aspen on the Colorado Trail near Shavano campground. The fragile edges held while weaker wood stripped away to reveal a garden of blooms in a wave of disobedient grain. Finished with tung oil after sanding to 1000 grit.
