How can you live in the Rocky Mountains as an artist and not want to paint aspen?  So many colors, so many seasons, so many possibilities.  And then back them with the quiet, majestic presence of the Collegiate Peak Range.  The softer colors of a summer morning are the opposite of the more vibrant and exciting colors of fall.  Hard and soft edges help convey a lost and found view...asking me to enjoy being "here" (among the trees), while wondering what lies "there", in the beckoning distance.
