In the summer of 2022 a pair of Great Horned Owls were raising 3 young owls in a wetland adjacent to my home 2 miles west of Buena Vista. I was able to watch the adult land on a post followed by the young owl. Adults are known to feed their young up to 6 months after birth. Note the young one has not grown its ear tufts. One to five owls were seen for approximately 3 weeks  but not at the same time before they moved on. A pair returned this June and only one young owl was observed.
