Golden aspen set against the blue sky in Colorado’s high country inspired this vase. Hiking through these forests are vital to my annual spiritual renewal. 
The vase was made using three unique kiln-formed processes: first, the vase was made, which provides the background and depicts the bluebird sky, then the aspen were made using a proprietary Pâte de Verre (glass paste) technique and fired separately. The last step is to fuse the aspen to the vase using a complex casting process.
