Artist Bio
I have created art since I was a child. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Fine Art from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO in 1992.
Since that time I have relegated art to a hobby for the most part as I worked full time.
I now have my own art studio devoting most of my free time to oil painting. I normally have painted landscapes, some animals and on occasion an abstract, non-objective piece. My current series is based off of the Hubble telescope photos. I have a profound interest in the cosmos. The visually exciting photos captured by the telescope, has sparked my imagination of how everything on earth has a relationship to the universe. This series explores these ideas.
Going forward, my hope is to develop a career in the art world and begin exhibiting my work locally and regionally.
